Happy Late Valentine’s Day everyone!

Even though things were tough this year and we were a little sad about Willy Jr. and Wila not being with us for Valentine’s Day, my lovely wife Willamina Willow, made it a very festive occasion, as you can see from the picture. She just loves to decorate. I can’t believe she even crawled up on our roof and hung beautiful valentine garland. Both my wife and our oldest daughter, Wilena, made a lovely handmade card for me, a fun party hat and they picked the only flower blooming in our yard. They greeted me at the door and surprised me. As you can see from the picture I was a bit teary eyed. They were tears of joy, and I hope they know how much I appreciated their willow- thoughtfulness. Weston was not in the picture because he was still at Netwille Elementary. I just need to stop and brag about him for a moment. He is excelling in Willowology and the study of Willowmatics. He says he wants to be a teacher working with the smallest of willows in our neighborhood when he grows up! He doesn’t realize that he won’t get much bigger - - well he won’t get any bigger. He brings us so much joy. That’s one thing about us Willows, we try and bring others joy, just with the little things!

It’s amazing how when anyone stops by our little area, they smile and laugh and sometimes go “awe”. We have been told that we make others laugh!! I had no idea our family would have this kind of impact on others!! Fa-sure!! (Our oldest daughter is trying out big-girl willow lingo. She thinks she is a Valley Willow!)
